1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. The cutoff date for reckoning the Maximum Age Limit, qualification etc. would be the last date of submission of online application i.e. 23/02/2021 at 16:00 hrs. The cut-off date for determining all eligibility criteria i.e. 23/02/2021 would remain same if the closing date for submission of online application is extended for administrative/technical reasons.
3. Candidate should have completed their qualifying degree/diploma as on closing date of online submission of application i.e. 23/02/2021. Candidates appearing in final semester are not eligible to apply.
4. Before submitting the online application form, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility criteria for the post for which they are applying as detailed for the respective post. If the candidates are not eligible, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process. If the candidates qualify in the selection process and subsequently, it is found that they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, services will be terminated without any notice or compensation.
5. Exact percentage of marks should be mentioned in percentage of marks column. e.g. 49.99 or 59.9% should NOT be rounded off to 50% or 60%.
6. All candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD category shall produce self attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed 'Central Government' format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificates along with originals for verification. OBC candidates with certificate having the "Non-Creamy Layer Clause" will only be eligible for reservation as per Government of India orders if the caste mentioned in caste certificate appears in the Central List. OBC certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2020.
7. The OBC candidates who belong to "Creamy layer" are not entitled for concession admissible to OBC (NCL) category and such applicants should indicate their category as General only.
8. Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates should produce certificate from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate in prescribed format alongwith originals for verification at the time of document verification. EWS certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2020. Income and Assets Certificate for EWS candidates issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from .
9. If the SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwBD certificate has been issued in a language other than English/Hindi, the candidate will be required to submit a self certified translated copy of the same either in English or Hindi.
10. The candidate's appointment will remain provisional subject to caste/tribe certificates being verified from appropriate authorities and verification of other testimonials. The candidate's services will be liable to be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason in case the above verification reveals that candidate's claim for belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD category and or other testimonials are found false. NPCIL management also reserves its right to take such further action against the candidate, as it may deem proper, for production of such a false caste certificate / testimonials.
11. Only such persons, who suffer from 40% or more disability are eligible to be considered under PwBD as per “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”.
12. The minimum disability in case of PwBD candidates is 40%. Sub-category of disability is to be indicated. The PwBD candidates shall possess a certificate to this effect issued by the Board/countersigned by the Medical Superintendent/Chief Medical Officer/Head of Government Hospital.
13. PwBD candidates called for written test will be allowed to use assistive devices/scribe as per Government of India guidelines. The candidate will have to make their own arrangement for scribe/reader/Lab assistant/device on their own as per Government of India guidelines.
14. Certificate issued by Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchanges for the disabled (or by a Civil Surgeon where there is no such board) in respect of physically disabled persons who are otherwise qualified to hold clerical post and unable to type.
15. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, electronic wrist watches, wrist watch phones, multimedia watches, pagers, calculator, pen scanners or any other such electronic devices are not permitted inside the premises of Examination Hall. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of their candidature.
16. As regards the qualification criteria, minimum qualification prescribed for recruitment has to be fulfilled. Any other qualification including higher qualification over and above the minimum qualification will not disqualify the candidates.
17. All the prescribed essential qualifications should be of full time, regular and from recognised University/Institution otherwise such qualification will not be considered.
18. Those candidates who are appearing in or awaiting result of final year/final semester are not eligible to apply. Hence, their candidature shall not be considered.
19. In case of candidates from Schools/Colleges/Institutions/Boards where scores in grade point average like CGPA/SGPA etc. are followed, they should produce a certificate from respective school/college/institution, conveying the equivalent percentage for the respective CGPA/SGPA scores etc. duly signed by Head of the school/college/institution at the time of document/certificate verification.
20. Selected candidates are required to submit invariably self-attested copy of the following certificates/documents as applicable (original for verification and a self attested copy for record) along with the hard copy of the Online Application and admit card at the time of document verification in skill test/Physical Endurance test/ personal interview :
  1. Certificate - Date of Birth ( SSLC / SSC )
  2. Certificate/s – Mark sheets and certificates of all Educational, Professional and Technical Qualifications. Mark Sheet of each year or each semester is must.
  3. Experience certificate/s - as applicable
  4. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer - as applicable
  5. Certificate - SC/ST (if applicable) (Annexure-A)
  6. Certificate - OBC (non creamy layer) (if applicable).(Annexure-B)
  7. Certificate - EWS (if applicable) (Annexure-C)
  8. Certificate - PwBD (if applicable). (Annexure-D)
  9. Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen.
  10. Certificate - NPCIL contract experience (if applicable) - issued by the Contractor duly forwarded by Engineer-in-charge, NPCIL having mention of period of service, designation and details of job or responsibilities, work order No. of the contract and period of contract.
  11. Certificate - NPCIL fixed term basis experience (if applicable) - issued by the NPCIL having indicating the period of service, designation and details of job responsibilities clearly.
  12. Upload Project Affected person Certificate issued by the District Authority being a proof of land/house acquired by TAPS-1&2/TAPS-3&4, if applicable.
21. NPCIL management reserves the right to cancel recruitment process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. NPCIL may at its discretion, hold re-Written test / re-skill test, re – interview, wherever necessary in respect of a Centre / Venue and / or all centres / candidates in case of any eventualities.
22. In case of multiple/duplicate application for the same post by a candidate only latest application will be taken into account for further consideration.
23. Record of the non-selected candidates viz. application form, question papers & answer sheets (selected/non-selected) etc. shall not be preserved beyond three years from the date of drawal of select list.
24. Issuance of admit card for the examination will not confer any right for appointment. Appointment will be solely subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions and qualifying in the selection criteria prescribed.
25. Appointment of the candidate in the NPCIL will be subject to satisfactory reference check and verification of Character and Antecedents and Special Security Questionnaire by the prescribed authority. Further, appointment will also be subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the standards prescribed for the post. The opinion of the Medical Officer authorized by NPCIL in this regard shall be final.
26. All positions advertised under the Advt. No. TMS/HRM/01/2021 carries with it the liability to serve in any of the Units of the Corporation or at any other place in India depending upon NPCIL requirements.
27. Applicants working in Central / State Government / PSUs / Aided Institutions shall bring a "No Objection Certificate" from the organisation, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the skill test/Physical Endurance test/ interview.
28. SC/ST outstation candidates called for written examination will be paid to & fro travelling allowance of second class railway fare by the shortest route (subject to production of tickets and valid caste certificate) as per rules. However, travelling allowance is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in Central/State Government services, Central/State Government Corporation, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats and to those who have availed concession from Railways, if any, for undertaking journey for attending written examination.
29. At any stage of this recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in NPCIL and applicant’s application / appointment shall be rejected forthwith and NPCIL will not entertain any correspondence from these candidates :
If the applicant:-
  1. has provided wrong information or submitted false documents; or
  2. has Suppressed relevant information; or
  3. does not meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post; or
  4. has resorted to unfair means during the Written test/Skill Test/Physical Endurance Test/interview/Recruitment process; or
  5. is found guilty of impersonation; or
  6. has created disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the Written Test/Physical Endurance Test at the test centre or Interview venue wherever applicable; or
  7. has uploaded non-human or irrelevant photograph
30. Preparation and operation of Select Panel/Waiting List.
  1. Select panel will be prepared after completion of skill test/Physical Endurance test/interview process, which will be limited to number of posts notified in this advertisement.
  2. Waitlist will be limited to equal number of candidates as in the select main list.
  3. Waitlist will be operated only in the event of occurrence of a vacancy caused by non-joining of the candidate from the select list within in the stipulated time allowed for joining the post or where a candidate joins the posts but resigns or dies within a period of one year from the date of joining, if a fresh panel is not available by that time.
  4. Select panel/Waiting list will not be operated beyond one year or after notifying any such recruitment, whichever is earlier.
31. Any kind of queries/RTIs/records of non selected candidates pertaining to this recruitment will be entertained only within six months from the date of Skill Test/Physical Endurance test/interview. Thereafter, no such request shall be entertained.
32. NPCIL reserves the right NOT to select a candidate for a post, if suitable candidate is/are not found.
33. In case of any ambiguity/dispute arising on account of interpretation in version other than English, the English version shall prevail.
34. Candidates appearing for written test/interview will have choice of answering the questions either in Hindi or English.
35. No correspondence will be made with the candidates not selected.
36. A separate notification about the date, timing, venue and other information about the written examination/skill test/Physical Endurance test/interview will be provided only at our website . Exact date, time and venue of the written examination will be available in the “Admit card”. E-mail/SMS will also be sent to the candidates.
