GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail ID & mobile number till the completion of recruitment process. No change in the email id and mobile number will be allowed once registered. NPCIL will send intimation / call letter for written examination / interview etc. only through the registered E-mail ID and SMS will also be sent to the mobile number given by the candidate. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), candidate will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration.
3. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten / typewritten in hard format delivered in person or by other means shall not be entertained. No certificates / marksheets etc. are required to be submitted alongwith “on-line application form”. No documents / application forms etc. are required to be sent to NPCIL. However candidate may take print-out of the application form which needs to be submitted to NPCIL, if selected.
4. The cut off date for reckoning the Maximum Age Limit is the last date of submission of online application i.e. 03/08/2019 at 1700 hrs. The cut off date for determining all eligibility criteria will remain same even if the last date for submission of online application is extended for administrative / technical reasons.
5. In case of candidates from Schools / Colleges / Institutions / Boards where scores in grade point average like CGPA / SGPA etc. are followed, they should produce a certificate from respective school / college / institution, conveying the equivalent percentage for the respective CGPA / SGPA scores etc. duly signed by Head of the school / college / institution at the time of interview / certificate verification.
6. Before submitting the online application form, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required eligibility criteria for the post for which they are applying as detailed for the respective post. If the candidates are not eligible, their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process. If the candidates qualify in the selection process and subsequently, it is found that they do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, services will be terminated without any notice or compensation.
7. All candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwBD category shall produce self attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed 'Central Government' format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificates along with originals for verification. OBC candidates with certificate having the "Non-Creamy Layer Clause" will only be eligible for reservation as per Government of India orders if the caste mentioned in caste certificate appears in the Central List.
8. Only such persons, who suffer from 40% or more disability are eligible to be considered under PwBD as per “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”.
9. The OBC candidates who belong to "Creamy layer" are not entitled for concession admissible to OBC (NCL) category and such applicants should indicate their category as UR only.
10. Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) candidates should produce certificate from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate in prescribed format.
11. If the SC / ST / OBC (Non Creamy Layer) / EWS / PwBD certificate has been issued in a language other than English / Hindi, the candidate will be required to submit a self certified translated copy of the same either in English or Hindi.
12. The candidate's appointment will remain provisional subject to caste / tribe certificates being verified from appropriate authorities and verification of other testimonials. The candidate's services will be liable to be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason in case the above verification reveals that candidate's claim for belonging to SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwBD category and other testimonials are found false. NPCIL also reserves its right to take such further action against the candidate, as it may deem proper, for production of such a false caste certificate / testimonials..
13. PwBD candidates called for written test will be allowed to use assistive devices / scribe as per Government of India guidelines.
14. The recruitment process will consist of written test and interview in that order and / or as prescribed by the Corporation for recruitment of these posts from time to time. Only Screened in applicants will be called for written examination / interview.
15. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicants to be called for Written Test and / or Interview.
16. The following documents (original for verification and a self attested copy for record) along with the hard copy of the Online Application are required to be produced at the time of written test / personal interview :
  1. Certificate - Date of Birth ( SSLC / SSC )
  2. Certificate/s - Qualifying Diploma in Engineering & Mark-lists for each year / semester.
  3. Experience certificate/s - as applicable
  4. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer - as applicable
  5. Certificate - SC/ST (if applicable)
  6. Certificate - OBC (non creamy layer) (if applicable)
  7. Certificate - EWS (if applicable)
  8. Certificate - PwBD (if applicable)
  9. Certificate - NPCIL contract experience (if applicable) - issued by the Contractor having mention of period of service, designation and details of job or responsibilities, work order No. of the contract and period of contract.
17. NPCIL reserves the right to cancel recruitment process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. NPCIL may at its discretion, hold re-Written test / re – interview, wherever necessary in respect of a Centre / Venue and / or all centres / candidates in case of any eventualities.
18. Appointment of the candidate in the NPCIL will be subject to satisfactory reference check and verification of Character and Antecedents and Special Security Questionnaire by the prescribed authority. Further, appointment will also be subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the standards prescribed for the post. The opinion of the Medical Officer authorized by NPCIL in this regard shall be final.
19. All positions advertised under the Advt. No. TMS/HRM/01/2019 carries with it the liability to serve in any of the Units of the Corporation or at any other place in India depending upon NPCIL requirements.
20. Applicants working in Central / State Government / PSUs / Aided Institutions shall bring a "No Objection Certificate" from the organization, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the written test / interview.
21. SC / ST outstation candidates called for written examination will be paid to & fro travelling allowance of second class railway fare by the shortest route (subject to production of tickets and valid caste certificate) as per rules. However, travelling allowance is not admissible to those SC / ST candidates who are already in Central / State Government services, Central / State Government Corporation, Public Sector Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats and to those who have availed concession from Railways, if any, for undertaking journey for attending written examination.
22. At any stage of this recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in NPCIL and applicant’s application / appointment shall be rejected forthwith and NPCIL will not entertain any correspondence from these candidates :
  1. has provided wrong information or submitted false documents or
  2. has suppressed relevant information or
  3. does not meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post or
  4. Has resorted to unfair means during the Written test / interview / Recruitment process or
  5. is found guilty of impersonation or
  6. has created disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the Written Test at the test center or Interview venue wherever applicable or
  7. has uploaded non-human or irrelevant photograph
23. Preparation and operation of Select Panel / Waiting List :
  1. Select panel will be prepared after completion of interview process, which will be limited to number of posts notified in this advertisement.
  2. Waitlist will be limited to equal number of candidates as in the select main list.
  3. Waitlist will be operated only in the event of occurrence of a vacancy caused by non-joining of the candidate from the select list within in the stipulated time allowed for joining the post or where a candidate joins the posts but resigns or dies within a period of one year from the date of joining, if a fresh panel is not available by that time.
  4. Select panel / Waiting list will not be operated beyond one year or after notifying any such recruitment, whichever is earlier.
24. Any kind of queries / RTIs / records of non selected candidates pertaining to this recruitment will be entertained only within six months from the date of written test / interview. Thereafter, no such request shall be entertained.
25. NPCIL reserves the right NOT to select a candidate for a post, if suitable candidate is/are not found.
26. In case of any ambiguity / dispute arising on account of interpretation in version other than English, the English version shall prevail.
27. Candidates appearing for interview will have choice of answering the questions either in Hindi or English.
28. All further information / corrigendum / addendum etc. If any, pertaining to this recruitment will be uploaded on www.npcilcareers.co.in from time to time. Please keep on referring this web portal.
29. In case of any dispute, legal jurisdiction will be Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra.
30. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
