GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Before submitting the online application, the candidate must ensure that he / she fulfills all the eligibility criteria for the post for which she / he is applying as detailed for the respective post. If the candidate is not eligible, his / her candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and subsequently, it is found that he / she does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, his / her candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, services will be terminated without any notice or compensation.
3. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post can do so by applying separately for each post. However, request for change of discipline, post, test centre, test date and timing will not be entertained after submission of online application.
4. The cut-off date for reckoning Maximum Age Limit, qualification and Post Qualification Experience is the last date of submission of online application i.e 31/01/2019. The cut off date for determining all eligibility criteria i.e. 31/01/2019 remain same even if the last date for submission of online application is extended for administrative / technical reasons.
5. Exact percentage of marks should be mentioned in percentage of marks column. e.g. 59.9% should NOT be rounded off to 60%.
6. In case of candidates from Schools / Colleges / Institutions / Boards where scores in grade point average like CGPA / SGPA etc. are followed, they should produce a certificate from respective school / college / institution, conveying the equivalent percentages for the respective CGPA / SGPA scores etc. duly signed by Head of the school / college / institution at the time of interview / skill test / certificate verification.
7. The SC / ST candidates who are not already in service of the Central / State / PSUs and called for written test from outstation will be paid to and fro II class railway fare or ordinary Bus fare on production of tickets excluding 30 km in both ways by the shortest route restricted to correspondence address indicated in the Application filled in while registering application. TA will be reimbursed through e-payment.
8. All candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PwBD category shall produce self-attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed 'Central Government' format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate along with originals for verification at the time of interview / skill test. OBC(NCL) certificate shall be of a recent date i.e. issued on or after 01/04/2018 with suitable mention about creamy layer / Non – Creamy layer status. (OBC candidates with certificate having the "Non-Creamy Layer Clause" only will be eligible for reservation as per Government of India guidelines if the caste certificate appears in the Central List). Further, OBC(NCL) applicants, if called for interview will have to give an undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC (Non Creamy layer) category at the time of reporting for interview.
9. If the SC / ST / OBC(Non Creamy Layer) / PwBD certificate has been issued in a language other than English / Hindi, the candidates will be required to submit a self-certified translated copy of the same either in English or Hindi.
10. The candidate's appointment will remain provisional subject to caste / tribe certificates being verified through proper channel and verification of testimonials. The candidate's services will be liable to be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason in case the above verification reveals that his / her claim for belonging to SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PwBD category and other testimonials is found false. NPCIL also reserves its right to take such further action against the candidate, as it may deem proper, for production of such false caste certificates / testimonials.
11. Candidates working under Central / State Govt. / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies should produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview / skill test / certificate verification. Please note that candidates employed with Govt. Dept. / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies will not be allowed for interviews / skill test / certificate verification without production of NOC.
12. PwBD candidates called for written test will be allowed to use assistive devices / scribe as per Government of India guidelines.
13. The recruitment process will consist of computer based tests, Physical standard verification (wherever applicable) and Personal interview / Skill test (as applicable) in that order and / or as prescribed by the Corporation for recruitment of these posts from time to time. Only Screened-in applicants will be called for Written Examination / Physical standard verification / Interview.
14. At the time of Interview / Skill Test / Certificate Verification, shortlisted candidates are required to produce printout of the online application and admit card along with all original certificates for verification of date of birth proof (i.e. Xth Std. passing Certificate indicating Date of Birth OR School Leaving Certificate), caste, disabilities, qualification, experience (if any) etc. and certificate / authentic documents in original in support of any claim for relaxation of age along with self attested copies of all such certificates / documents (Formats can be downloaded from Downloads menu from the website). No candidate will be interviewed, if any of the required certificates / documents are not produced.
15. Appointment to the Stipendiary Traineeship will be subject to satisfactory reference check and verification of Character and Antecedents (C&A) and Special Security Questionnaire (SSQ) by the prescribed authority. Further, appointment will also be subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the standards prescribed for the post. The opinion of the Medical Officer authorized by NPCIL in this regard shall be final.
16. Mere fulfilling of norms will not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for computer based test / interview / skill test etc..
17. Management reserves the right to fill up all the posts or alter the number of posts or even cancel / suspend / postponed the whole process of recruitment and also changing the recruitment criteria without any prior notice / assigning any reasons at any stage. Management may at its discretion, hold re-written exam / re-interview, wherever necessary in case of any eventualities.
18. NPCIL reserves the right NOT to select a candidate for a post, if suitable candidate is not found.
19. In case of any ambiguity / dispute arising on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English version shall prevail.
20. In case of any dispute, legal jurisdiction will be Dist. Surat, Gujarat.
21. If at any stage of this recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, if any of the following is detected, the said applicant will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in NPCIL and his / her application / appointment will be rejected forthwith and NPCIL will not entertain any correspondence from these candidates :
  1. Has provided false information or submitted false documents or
  2. Has suppressed relevant information or
  3. Does not meet the eligibility criteria for the post or
  4. Has resorted to unfair means during selection process or
  5. Is found guilty of impersonation or
  6. Has created disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the Written exam at the test centre or interview venue or
  7. Has uploaded non-human or irrelevant photograph.
22. Only such persons, who suffers from 40% or more disability are eligible to be considered under PwBD as per “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016” and the shortlisted applicants shall produce a self-attested copy of prescribed certificate issued by the Competent Medical Authority at the time of verification of certificates.
23. The OBC applicants who belong to "CREAMY LAYER" are not entitled for OBC(NCL) concession and such applicants have to indicate their category as "UR".
24. All further information / corrigendum / addendum etc., if any, pertaining to this recruitment will be uploaded on www.npcilcareers.co.in from time to time. Please keep on referring this web portals.
25. Records of the non-selected candidates shall not be preserved beyond six (06) months from the date of formation of select list.
26. Canvassing in any form shall be disqualification.

28. The email id and mobile number entered in the online application form should remain active for at least one year. No change in the email id will be allowed once entered. All future correspondence would be sent to the registered email.
