Q. 1 Where should I send print out of Online Application form?
Ans. Print out of Online Application form is NOT TO BE SENT. However, self attested documents in support of claim regarding qualification and experience are to be uploaded. Also, printout of ‘Online Application Form’ along with other essential documents related to experience as mentioned in the advertisement will be required at the time of document verification subject to shortlisting for interview.
Q. 2 Should I send the copies of certificates/documents regarding my qualification, caste, disablement etc?
Ans. DO NOT SEND any documents to NPCIL. Only upload self attested documents in support of claim regarding qualification and experience.
Q. 3 I have done Integrated LLB, am I eligible for applying for the post?
Ans. Minimum qualification prescribed for recruitment has to be fulfilled. Any other qualification including higher qualification over and above the minimum qualification will not disqualify the candidate to. Please refer ‘Educational Qualification’ details in the detailed advertisement.
Q. 4 I have acquired essential qualification through distance learning, am I eligible to apply for advertised Post.
Ans. No. only Full time Graduation in Law. Should be member of institute of Company Secretaries of India. The prescribed essential qualifications should only be of full time, regular and from recognized University/ Institution.
Q. 5 In my Course, only CGPA/GPA/SGPA or letter grade has been awarded in place of percentage of marks. Can I enter the grade in my application?
Ans. Applicants, who have been awarded CGPA/GPA/SGPA or letter grades, should follow the conversion table of the Institute/College/University from wherever they have passed. Applicants called for Interview will be required to produce the authenticated conversion table from the Institute/College/University.
Q. 6 I have appeared for my final Semester/Year Examinations and the results are yet to be announced. Am I eligible to apply?
Ans. No. Candidates with 10 (ten) years of post qualification experience will be considered
Q. 7 I have submitted my application online, but have forgotten the Registration Number and also did not take a print out of the ‘Online Application Form’. What do I do?
Ans. You may check your e-mail. After registration, an e-mail will be sent to each applicant along with the registration number and name.
Q. 8 How can I check the status of my application?
Ans. You can click "Applicant's Login" menu and check the status of your application on this website by entering your relevant details.
Q. 9 How can I pay my Application fee?
Ans. Only male applicants belonging to General, EWS and OBC categories are required to make a non refundable payment of ₹500/- towards application fee with the applicable bank charges using State Bank Collect link provided on the website after final submission of the online application. The State Bank Collect facility can also be operated through the www.onlinesbi.co.in website by selecting State Bank Collect option => Click Check Box & Proceed => Select state as Maharashtra => type of Corporate/Institution as Others =>Others Name as NPCIL => Submit => Select Payment Category as ‘Recruitment of Sr. Assistant Company Secretary”.
SC/ST, PwBD, DODPKIA, Ex Servicemen, Female applicants and employees of NPCIL are exempted from the payment of Application Fee.

Q. 10 I am a SC/ST, OBC Applicant but don't have the caste/category certificate. Can I apply as a General Applicant?
Ans. If you so desire, you may apply stating your category as "General", if eligible for General category. In such an event, your candidature will be considered as "GENERAL" and no change in category shall be allowed at a later date. No relaxation/concessions will be applicable to you.
Q. 11 I am working in a Government/Public Sector Company. Should I enclose an NOC from my employer while appearing for Interview?
Ans. Shortlisted applicants working in Central/State Government/PSUs/Aided Institutions should bring "No Objection Certificate" from the organisation without which they will not be allowed to appear for the Interview.
Q. 12 I have not received the activation email when I completed my registration. Why?
Ans. The activation email could have been delivered to the spam / junk folder of your email account. So please check in these folders.
Q. 13 I have not received any SMS when I completed my registration. Why?
Ans. If the mobile number you have registered is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), you will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration. If you want to receive future SMS alerts from NPCIL related to recruitment of various posts, please remove your mobile number from the NCPR list through your service provider.
Q. 14 After selection, where shall I be posted.
Ans. Candidates appointed in NPCIL are liable to be transferred and posted to any of the Units of NPCIL.
Q. 15 What is the Selection Process for recruitment to the various posts Advertised ?

Q. 16 Subject to selection, what emoluments will I draw?

Q. 17 I have submitted my application online, now I want to correct/make some changes in the Application.
Q. 18 I am SC/ST Candidate but there is no vacancy available for the post of Sr. Assistant Company Secretary. Can I avail the age relaxation of SC/ST?
Ans. No, however you can apply under UR category subject to fulfilling the age criteria applicable for UR Category.
